WASHINGTON — The Federal Reserve Board and the Office of Thrift Supervision have released instructions for filing information about agreements made under the Community Reinvestment Act.

The so-called CRA “sunshine” provision in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 requires banks and community groups to report details of CRA-related loans or grants. Regulators released a final rule in December detailing the kinds of agreements covered by the provision.

The Fed said Thursday that any covered agreement, list of agreements, or annual report for its regulated banks should be sent to: Ms. Jennifer J. Johnson, Secretary of the Board, Attention: CRA Sunshine Agreements and Annual Reports, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, 20th Street and Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20551.

The OTS instructions may be viewed online at www.ots.treas.gov. Other bank regulators have already issued similar instructions.
