In Brief: Deutsche Unit Hires Utilities Finance Leader

Deutsche Bank Securities, the U.S. securities subsidiary of Germany's Deutsche Bank AG, said it hired Paul G. Naumann last week to be managing director in its structured finance group.

Mr. Naumann will head the group's utilities team, where he will focus on power and infrastructure projects, as well as privatization and utility divestiture financing opportunities. He joins Deutsche Bank from Swiss Bank Corp., where he had worked 20 years, most recently heading its project finance group in the Americas.

He will work in New York and report to Patrick Crawford, the head of project and export finance to the Americas.
