ARLINGTON, Va. - E-Trade Bank has agreed to play host to the banking section of Embark.com, a Web site for college applicants and their parents.
The agreement gives E-Trade Bank access to San Francisco-based Embark.com's one million registered users.
Visitors to the site will be able to gain access to customized E-Trade Bank content through co-branded Web pages. They will also get incentives to open an E-Trade Bank account, including reduced minimum balance requirements and preferred rates.
