WASHINGTON - The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. is accepting comments this month on its strategic plan.
The draft plan, which covers the years 2001-2006, addresses the areas of insurance, supervision, and receivership management. It can be found at www.fdic.gov, under "about FDIC."
Separately, the FDIC said it plans to mail its annual summary of deposits survey to financial institutions on Friday. The deadline to return the surveys by mail is July 31; for banks filing electronically, the deadline is Aug. 15.
