In Brief: Fidelity Names Structured Investment Exec

BOSTON- Fidelity Investments Inc. has promoted Philip Bullen to head its structured investment group.

The group manages investment portfolios that use strategies such as indexing and tactical asset allocation.

Mr. Bullen will succeed Scott Stewart, who has headed the unit for 14 years, when Mr. Stewart retires on March 1. The appointment was announced last Wednesday.

Mr. Bullen joined Fidelity last year.
