ATLANTA FleetBoston Financial Corp. has formed a partnership with Click Tactics Inc. to give Fleets 350,000 small-business clients access to direct marketing services, including customized direct mail, mailing lists, and data storage.
Atlanta-based Click Tactics supplies prepackaged and customized marketing campaigns to various industries and professional groups. Fleet customers would have access to the services through the banking companys small-business Web site.
Until now the development of direct mail campaigns has been too time-consuming and expensive for most small businesses, said Ken Long, chief executive officer of Click Tactics, in a press release.
Diane Naczi, executive vice president of e-business at FleetBoston, said the partnership empowers the companys small-business customers in a way that allows them to compete with larger institutions.
