In Brief: Fleet Names Hogan Credit Risk Officer

BOSTON - FleetBoston Financial Crop. named Paul Hogan as its chief risk officer, replacing David L. Eyles, who retired.

The eighth-largest U.S. banking company also said it was comfortable with loan loss expectations.

Hogan, 55, currently oversees the corporate and investment banking operations as a vice chairman of Fleet. He will be responsible for credit and market risk policies.
