In Brief: Forecast: $6T of B-to-B Business in 2005

NEW YORK - Business-to-business spending online will skyrocket to $6 trillion by 2005, from $336 billion now, according to Jupiter Communications Inc.

Spending will rise as mainstream companies adopt the Internet as a channel for business-to-business trading, said the Internet commerce research firm. Such companies should invest now, Jupiter said. It recommended the use of multiple business models and strategic partners.
