NEW YORK - GreenPoint Mortgage, a subsidiary of GreenPoint Financial Corp., has teamed up with the Gay Financial Network to provide mortgage products online to the gay and lesbian community.
In the deal, GreenPoint will offer its mortgage products through the Web site GreenPoint.gfn.mortgagewebcenter.com, and the Gay Financial Network will refer customers from its Web site, www.gfn.com.
"We believe gfn.com represents a growing segment of the residential lending market," said S.A. Ibrahim, president and chief executive of GreenPoint Mortgage, in a statement. "We want to establish a strong presence with gfn.com and provide members of the gay and lesbian community with an exceptionally high level of service."
