PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill. - Household International has named Sandra Derickson chief executive officer of Household Retail Services, its private-label credit card business.
Ms. Derickson spent 24 years with GE Capital, most recently as president and general manager of GE Capital Auto Financial Services, an auto leasing unit with $25 billion of assets and 5,000 employees. At GE Capital she spearheaded the acquisition and integration of 21 companies.
At Household, Ms. Derickson reports to Rocco Fabiano, group executive for retail finance. She is responsible for signing new merchants, solidifying market share, and expanding e-commerce offerings.
Household Retail Services offers customized financing programs for national merchants and manufacturers, including Best Buy, Micron Computers, Rooms to Go, and Yamaha.
Ms. Derickson graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
