In Brief: Huntington CFO Sets Retirement for April 1

Huntington Bancshares said Wednesday that its chief financial officer, Gerald R. Williams, will retire April 1. He will be succeeded by Judith Dunn Fisher, who is now treasurer.

Ms. Fisher's duties will be given to controller Anne Creek, who will be named principal accounting officer. Mr. Williams, 62, said he planned his retirement more than a year ago. He said he would like to consult for or invest in a small business. He has been Huntington's chief financial officer for 10 years.

Ms. Fisher joined Huntington in 1987 as manager of the funds management group.
