PITTSBURGH - Lorene K. Steffes was appointed last week to the board of directors at PNC Financial Services Group Inc. of Pittsburgh, and the board of its principal banking subsidiary, PNC Bank, National Association.
Ms. Steffes is vice president of International Business Machines Corp.'s Transarc Lab and of application and integration middleware product services for IBM.
"Lorene's worldwide responsibilities with IBM, her strong background in the technology sector, and her diverse commitments in the community will strengthen the breadth and expertise of our Board," said James E. Rohr, president and chief executive officer of PNC Financial Services Group.
