SAN FRANCISCO - Innoventry Corp. is teaming up with Jackson Hewitt Inc. to offer check cashing at select Jackson Hewitt outlets this tax season.

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service locations in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Louisiana, Virginia, and Nevada installed Innoventry RPM cash management machines in late January and will house them through April.

"Through the use of our proprietary software system we've been able to expedite tax preparation and speed of refunds," said Dan Tarantin, president and chief operating officer of Jackson Hewitt Inc., Parsippany, N.J. "Now, Jackson Hewitt offices with an RPM machine on site will provide the 'last leg' for customers - quick conversion of their checks into cash," including tax-refund checks.

Innoventry created the RPM network of cash and check-cashing kiosks, which number more than 900 in U.S. stores such as Albertson's, Circle K, Kmart, Kroger, Texaco, and Wal-Mart.
