In Brief: KeyCorp Kicks Off National Ad Drive

CLEVELAND — KeyCorp’s new management team, which is trying to remake the banking company’s image, launches a multimillion-dollar “Achieve Anything” advertising campaign this week.

KeyCorp has struggled to boost revenues and control costs in recent years despite a series of restructuring plans.

Robert W. Gillespie is to retire Thursday as chairman and chief executive officer and be succeeded by Henry L. Meyer 3d, president, who has been overseeing the latest revamp. The ads, which were designed by the Campbell Mithun agency, will premiere in newspapers and in cable and network television broadcasts in 38 markets.
