In Brief: Nationwide Financial Unit Adds Six Funds

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. - Villanova Capital, the asset management arm of Nationwide Financial of Columbus, Ohio, is planning to launch two global technology funds and four international funds.

The funds will be offered to U.S. investors starting Oct. 2.

The funds will be run in partnership with Gartmore Investment Management PLC, the London asset manager that Nationwide acquired in May. A U.S. subsidiary, Gartmore Global Partners, will subadvise four of the funds, which London investment teams will manage. Villanova will manage the other two.
