GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Old Kent Financial Corp. has acquired Kehoe-Nedrud Agency Inc., a privately held insurance agency in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The deal, which was announced Monday, is Old Kents fourth acquisition of an insurance company since 1996. Terms were not disclosed.
This acquisition affords Old Kent Insurance Group, continued expansion and visibility in its Kalamazoo and southwest Michigan markets, and is consistent with our strategic objective to grow this business line, said Kenneth C. Krei, executive vice president of investment and insurance services.
