EVANSVILLE, Ind. Old National Bancorp announced Friday that it will build a 10-story headquarters on the same riverfront site where the bank was founded in 1834.
The $47 million project includes plans for a three-story pavilion and an event lawn with a 450-seat amphitheater, as well as a 753-car parking garage. Groundbreaking is scheduled for summer 2001 and construction is expected to take two years.
This project is a tremendous vote of confidence in Old Nationals future, said Jim Risinger, its chairman and chief executive officer.
