In Brief: PNC Exec to Oversee Loan Purchase Center

PNC Mortgage has named Pamela Wilson senior vice president of correspondent lending.

In this newly created position, Ms. Wilson will oversee all operations and sales at PNC Mortgage's loan purchase center in Schaumburg, Ill., and three field offices.

The mortgage unit of PNC Bank Corp. buys loans from more than 300 correspondent lenders; its purchases last year exceeded $6 billion.

Ms. Wilson, 45, has been with the company for 10 years, most recently as senior vice president in charge of production service delivery.

PNC Mortgage is also looking to fill another newly created post, that of chief information officer. And it seeks a successor to Peter M. Ross, former executive vice president of loan administration, who left the company in March.

Meanwhile, Donna Burge, PNC Mortgage's senior vice president for corporate initiatives and administration, has added to her responsibilities those of former chief credit officer Ronald D. Gaither. Mr. Gaither left in March to become chief operating officer of Arbor National Commercial Mortgage in Uniondale, N.Y.
