STAMFORD, Conn. - Sage Life Assurance of America has appointed Christopher J. O'Gorman its senior vice president for operations.
He had been president and chief executive officer of Republic Financial Services Corp. in New York.
Mr. O'Gorman has held multiple positions at Quick & Reilly Group, including branch manager and director of electronic trading for U.S. Clearing Corp.
In addition, John P. O'Shaughnessy has joined Sage as vice president and actuary, product development, from Nationwide Financial, of Columbus, Ohio, where he was director of variable life product development. He has held actuarial positions with Capital Holdings of Greenwich, Conn., and New York-based Mercer Meidinger.
David B. Lentz joins Sage as vice president, marketing and communications, from WordsworthHaverford, Haverford, Pa., where he was president and chief executive officer.
Sage Life is the U.S. subsidiary of Sage Group Ltd., a financial services organization headquartered in Johannesburg.
