NEW YORK -- Katrina Blecher is joining the equity research team at Sandler O'Neill and Partners as managing director and will focus on large capital banks.
Starting in September, Ms. Blecher will pick up research for 15 of the 200 financial service companies Sandler O'Neill covers. She will report to Fred Price, partner and director of research at the New York investment firm.
Ms. Blecher was part of the analyst team at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. of Boston, and before that spent five years at Gruntal & Co. of New York and at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray of Minneapolis.
