In Brief: Santander to Use Baltimore Software

DUBLIN - Baltimore Technologies said Banco Santander Central Hispano has licensed its UniCert certificate management software to deliver a secure infrastructure for its online business customers.

Madrid-based Santander is a member of Identrus, the multinational banking consortium that is seeking to provide security assurances for online business-to-business commerce. Santander plans to use the UniCert software in conjunction with other banks in the group.

The bank will also use the software to deliver security services to its clients.
