SAN FRANCISCO — Union Bank of California is using customer relationship software it developed with KPMG Consulting Inc.

The software provides employees with Web browser access to data about customers’ complete relationships with the bank, an affiliate of Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. It also lets branch managers obtain real-time sales reports each day.

KPMG designed and programmed the application, which was to be installed in all 250 of the bank’s branches.
