Union Planters Corp. said Monday it has named Adolfo Henriques, former chairman of NationsBank's South Florida division, as president and chief executive officer of its Florida subsidiary.

Daniel M. Holtz, Capital's president and chairman, stepped down when the acquisition was completed.
