TEMPE, Ariz. - Vital Processing Services, which has owned a majority stake in Golden Retriever Systems LLC since February 1997, said it has acquired the remaining minority interest in the company, which manages data aggregation, storage, reporting, and processing.
The merchant processing and services company announced last week that it bought the minority stake from Netcentives Inc. The deal's terms were not disclosed.
Golden Retriever's clients include merchant-acquirers and loyalty-rewards programs.
The Chandler, Ariz.-based company "has been an important business partner for several years and has been the 'engine' behind Vital Reporting Services," said Jonathan Palmer, Vital's president and chief executive officer. "Now that GRS is a wholly owned affiliate, we're in a position to work even more closely together to identify and meet our acquiring clients' needs for information services."
Vital is also the owner of Vital Merchant Services.
