Chase Capital Partners and two other companies have invested $25 million in, an on-line real estate auctioneer.

Homebid, which announced the capital infusion Tuesday, said it will use the capital to increase market awareness of the on-line bidding concept, add information to its site, and increase the number of consumer products it offers.

Homebid conducted its first Internet auction 12 weeks ago, when it sold 137 Connecticut homes. The company plans to launch a series of auctions in various markets.
