SAN DIEGO - Greg Bjorndahl has been named president and chief operating officer of SensCom Inc., a provider of wireless Internet financial services.
SensCom was founded in May 1999 to provide outsourced wireless Internet capabilities to financial institutions. It develops, hosts, manages, and maintains wireless Internet middleware. Mr. Bjorndahl is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations as well as business development, third-party alliances, sales, and marketing.
Mr. Bjorndahl was marketing and general manager for Acxiom Corp., a financial services database marketing company in Little Rock.
Earlier he held senior management positions at Citibank, Visa International, Deluxe Corp., and Security Pacific Bank, which the old BankAmerica Corp. bought. He developed and implemented programs including Visa's Interlink point of sale debit card program, and he created DebitBureauSM to improve risk management in the banking industry.
