Independent Bankers' Bank Of Florida Names a CEO

John C. Wulbern has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Independent Bankers' Bank of Florida, Orlando.

He brings 36 years of varied banking experience to his new job.

Mr. Wulbern began his banking career at Barnett First National Bank of Jacksonville in 1958. He rose rapidly through the organization and became a director of Barnett Banks of Florida and president of Barnett Bank of Marion County.

In 1978 he joined First Florida Banks Inc., where he became president. Most recently, Mr.. Wulbern was chairman of the board of Citizens First Bank of Ocala.

Independent Bankers' Bank was established by community banks throughout the state.
