LINCOLN, Mass. - LoanWorks.com, IndyMac Bancorp's online mortgage lending site, took the top spot Gomez Advisors' fall online mortgage rankings, jumping from No. 7 in the summer list and No. 19 in the spring.
LoanWorks, of Pasadena, Calif., also received Gomez's WebStar, which is given to e-commerce companies that rank No. 1 in their industries.
"We are pleased with our No. 1 ranking," said Michael Perry, chief executive officer of IndyMac.
Rounding out the top 10 mortgage list were E-Loan, LoansDirect, Infoloan.com, Mortgagebot.com, Quicken Loans, Mortgage.com, InstaMortgage.com, Countrywide Home Loans, and MortgageIT .com.
