For investment managers, ITS Associates Inc. has introduced software that runs on personal computers and will help manage portfolios by making it easier to access information regarding diversification, positions, and comparative analysis.
The client/server architecture means data can be integrated from multiple sources and then be accessed by the PC.
Users can construct ad hoc queries by using pull-down menus; access analytical data and combine them with portfolio position information; and examine data at multiple levels of detail.
ITS Associates, based in Wellesley, Mass., has not yet set a price on the software, which will be available by yearend.
