Key Energy Services Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Key Energy Services Inc., a New Jersey provider of onshore oil-well and gas-well services in the United States, Canada, and Argentina, said a longtime banker has joined it as chief financial officer and an executive vice president.

Thomas Grundman will also oversee international operations and be one of the three members of the East Brunswick company's operations committee.

Mr. Grundman was the senior vice president in charge of PNC Bank's oil and gas group. Before joining PNC in late 1996 he had worked for Chase Securities as a managing director in corporate finance for the oil and gas industry, and earlier for the predecessor Chemical Securities and Manufacturers Hanover.

At Key Energy, which he joined April 21, Mr. Grundman succeeded Stephen E. McGregor as CFO. Mr. McGregor, who had helped the company with acquisition and financing strategies, will serve it as a consultant from his home in Washington, D.C.
