Key Source adds two new keyboards.

Key Source International introduced two new specialty keyboards. One, the KSI 1290, is a point of sale keyboard with a check reader device built in. The KSI 1290 eliminates the extra connectors, cords, and counter space required for two separate units. The actual check reader interfaces to all check verification systems and is compatible to all standard personal computers. The keyboard has a life of 50 million key strokes. It lists for $525.

The MSL 4717 combines a keyboard and magnetic card reader. It interfaces with the IBM 4700 banking system. It is also compatible to all IBM clones. Depending on the operating system used, the keyboard ranges in price from $506 to $526. Key Source International is based in Hayward, Calif.
