LaSalle National Bank, Chicago, a unit of Amsterdam-based ABN Amro Holding, promoted Joshua D. Eichenhorn and Sabina Berggren from vice president to first vice president.

Mr. Eichenhorn, who joined the bank in 1987, was the deputy division head in commercial banking. He had been vice president and assistant to the president. In 1992, he was in the foreign credit department at ABN Amro Bank in Amsterdam.

Ms. Berggren was hired in 1987 by the Exchange National Bank of Chicago, which LaSalle acquired in 1990. Before that, she had worked for Unibank, First National Bank of Blue Island, and Harris Bank and Trust.
