WASHINGTON - Robert C. Reiling, a Lafayette, Ind.-based attorney, said he boosted his stake in First Bancorp Indiana to 7.98%.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mr. Reiling said he purchased 11,300 common shares between Aug. 25 and Sept. 24 at prices ranging from $41.25 to $42 each.
Mr. Reiling said he now holds 89,300 of the company's common shares.
But views are split, at least in the near-term on whether rising mortgage rates are holding back the Spring home purchase season.
