ATLANTA - Automobile Protection Corp. said Liberty National Bank and Trust Co. of Louisville, Ky., would help market car maintenance contracts to dealerships.
The bank, a leading source of automobile financing at dealers in Kentucky, is expanding in Indiana and Tennessee.
Liberty National is to introduce the 300 dealerships with which it does business to Automobile Protection's EasyCare contract.
The two companies have been working together since August of last year, when Aegis Group Inc., an Automobile Protection subsidiary, began brokering insurance for a Liberty program that protects owners from financial loss if their cars are totaled.
