Marshall and Ilsley Corp., Milwaukee, announced that it has appointed a president to its trust services division, a move that the firm says strengthens its commitment and focus to that market.
Named to the post was James Eyster, who is also an executive vice president of M&I Data Services and has been responsible for the trust services division for the past six years.
Mr. Eyster said the firm sees a tremendous opportunity in the trust area and sees his appointment as putting more resources and executive management in place to grow the firm faster.
"We want to grow and are committed to putting the resources behind the firm to commit to the expansion," said Mr. Eyster.
M&I Data Services had revenues of $178 million last year, while the trust division experienced growth of 30%.
