MCB Financial Corp. of San Rafael, Calif., said Charles O. Hall became its chief executive officer and that of its Metro Commerce Bank on Jan. 1.

He succeeded John Cavallucci, who remains chairman of both.

Mr. Hall was also named president of $167 million-asset MCB, a newly created post. He remains president, chief operating officer of the bank.

Mr. Cavallucci assumed the newly created role of executive officer to the president, Mr. Hall, at Metro Commerce Bank. And Raymon L. Hanssen was promoted to executive vice president and chief administrative officer, responsible for the bank's branches.

Mr. Hanssen had been a senior vice president since 1994, managing the South San Francisco branch. He joined the bank in 1991 as senior vice president and loan officer.
