LONDON- J.P. Morgan & Co. said Thursday that it has hired six people for its European equity research team since the beginning of the month. Three of the analysts will focus on emerging European media and technology-related companies.
Nina Pustilnik joins as a vice president and is the company's first analyst to cover the European Internet sector exclusively. Formerly director of business development at NBC Interactive, she reports to Nick Bertolotti, head of J.P. Morgan's media and technology group in Europe.
Joining Ms. Pustilnik as an associate following European new and traditional media is Alexandra Pedder, formerly a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.
Henrik Nyblom also joins Morgan as an associate, researching European telecommunications companies. Previously, he was an analyst at Robur Asset Management.
Nick Ward also joins as vice president, covering the European transport industry. He comes from Credit Suisse First Boston and reports to Peter Houghton, the head of Morgan's European equity research group.
J.P. Morgan also said it hired two new associates to cover European utilities and British insurance companies.
