National City Bank Names Executive

National City Bank in Cleveland has promoted Michael J. Aust to executive vice president and three vice presidents to senior vice president.

Mr. Aust, who was a senior vice president, is the head of consumer loan services. He reports to Joseph Parker, executive vice president and head of consumer finance at National City Corp., the bank's holding company.

Mr. Aust joined National City in 1990 as senior vice president and retail lending manager for the northwest Ohio area. He was transferred to National City Mortgage Co. in 1994 as senior vice president and member bank relationship manager in loan administration.

Gary S. Austin was appointed corporate risk oversight manager in corporate credit administration in 1995. He joined the bank in 1978 as a tax accountant in the comptroller's office and later became vice president and controller of the parent National City Corp.

Brian J. Cullina joined the Cleveland bank in 1996 as vice president and lending officer in the structured finance division and later was promoted to regional manager of the division. Before that he was a corporate banking vice president at Bank of America in Chicago.

Carlton M. Faison joined National City in 1996 as vice president in the structured finance division. Last year, he was promoted to marketing and sales manager of the international division and president of National City Canada Inc., Toronto. He previously worked at Chase Manhattan Bank as vice president and team leader in the corporate banking group.
