National City Promotes Three In Its Corporate Banking Unit

National City Bank in Cleveland has promoted Kennan J. Ferian, Gregory M. Jelinek, and Michael P. McCuen to senior vice presidencies in the corporate banking division.

Mr. Ferian has been the sales manager of the treasury management department since last year. He joined the bank in 1979 and was successively an assistant vice president in corporate services and a vice president and cash management sales representative.

Mr. Jelinek and Mr. McCuen are managers in middle-market lending, serving companies with sales of $500 million or less.

Mr. Jelinek joined the bank in 1986 and was promoted to consumer credit officer in 1990. After transferring to the management development program for corporate banking, he was promoted in 1993 to assistant vice president for real estate industries.

He moved to middle-market lending in 1994 and was promoted to vice president a year later.

Mr. McCuen came to National City in 1996 as a vice president in corporate banking. He had been a commercial lender at Society National Bank, a KeyCorp precursor. Earlier he worked at Bank One Cleveland.
