Nearly three in four Americans say banks and insurance companies should stay separate, according to a new survey by America's Research Group. Almost 90% expressed support for traditional insurance marketing through agents - even though banks scored far higher on perceived service quality, with just 12% of those polled scoring insurers higher than banks.
