NFinanSe to Add Visa Reloadable Prepaid

NFinanSe Inc. in Tampa says that, within three months, it will begin offering Visa-branded, reloadable prepaid cards issued by Palm Desert National Bank in California.

The provider of prepaid cards previously offered only Discover-branded reloadable prepaid cards, also issued by the $294 million-asset Palm Desert National. NFinanSe announced the new plan last week.

The announcement came a week after nFinanSe announced a distribution deal with Coinstar Inc. Under the deal, the Bellevue, Wash., company, known for its coin-counting kiosks, is to make nFinanSe's products available in the fourth quarter on its network of 30,000 retail sites.

NFinanSe has a similar deal with InComm Inc., an Atlanta marketer and distributor of reloadable prepaid debit cards.

"We want to get as much distribution in the marketplace as we can, and this deal with Coinstar does that," said Jerry Welch, nFinanSe's chief executive officer.
