North Side Savings Names Executive

North Side Savings Bank, Floral Park, N.Y., said Carmine M. Tenga, former acting superintendent of banks for New York State, had become a director.

Mr. Tenga worked 27 years for the state Banking Department. He was acting superintendent from June 1994 to January 1995, responsible for the overall conduct of the agency. In the preceding three years he was deputy superintendent banks, in charge of the supervisory activities of the department's domestic commercial banks division.

Mr. Tenga was also chairman of the banking board and an ex-officio director of the Urban Development Corp., the Job Development Authority, the State of New York Mortgage Agency, and the Community Project Guarantee Funds.
