WEST

Northrim Bank, Anchorage, has elected president and chief executive officer Marc Langland to the additional post of chairman.

Mr. Langland succeeded Arnold Espe, who died in November. The two had established Northrim Bank in 1990.

Before that Mr. Langland had been chairman and CEO of Key Bank of Alaska, and earlier president and CEO of First National Bank of Fairbanks, which KeyBank bought in 1987.

Northrim's senior vice president, Chris Knudson, was named executive vice president, chief operating officer, and a director. He remains chief financial officer of the $273 million-asset bank.

Mr. Knudson, who has worked with Mr. Langland for 20 years, was CFO of KeyBank of Alaska before he joined Northrim. Before that he was vice president and controller of First National Bank of Fairbanks.
