Pacific Continental in Ore. Taps Exec to Lead Key Region

Pacific Continental in Eugene, Ore., has found a key position for an executive from a bank it recently bought.

The $2.4 billion-asset company said in a press release Wednesday that Jocelyn Lane had become market president of its Puget Sound region in Washington.

Lane had been a market president at Foundation Bank of Bellevue, Wash., since September 2014. Pacific Continental bought Foundation earlier this week.

Lane "is the ideal person to lead our combined team and usher in our new era of community banking in the Puget Sound," Roger Busse, Pacific Continential Bank's president and chief executive, said in the release. Pacific Continental recently appointed two former directors of Foundation Bancorp – Duane Woods and Thomas Ellison – to its own board.

Pacific Continental has 14 branches in Oregon and Washington.
