CyberSource Corp. last week named former Visa Inc. chief executive Carl F. Pascarella to the board of the Mountain View, Calif., payments and risk management company.
Pascarella was Visa's president and CEO for 12 years until leaving the post in 2005. He is currently an executive adviser at the private-equity company Texas Pacific Group.
Pascarella "has an unique background in the international side of the business, a key growth factor for CyberSource," Bill McKiernan, its chairman and CEO, said in a press release.
