Pizza exec among appointees to key positions at Fed Bank.

WASHINGTON -- The president of a chain of pizza restaurants, a power company executive, and a retired head of a health care organization were among six new faces to join the Federal Reserve System as chairman or deputy chairman of a reserve bank, the Fed announced last week.

The Fed also said that it reappointed 17 others to continue as chairmen and deputy chairmen. while leaving the deputy spot vacant at the Boston bank.

Godfather's Pizza president Herman Cain, takes over as chairman of the Kansas City bank. He is joined there in the deputy slot by A. Dine Jennings chairman of the Kansas City Power and Light Co.

Two new people also assumed control of the San Francisco bank. Judith M. Runstad, a partner at the Seattle law firm of Foster. Pepper & Shefelman, and James A. Vohs, retired chairman of the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, took the top two board slots there. Finally, Robert M. Healey, a member of Illinois State Labor Relations Board, and Richard G. Clien, the chairman of Nicor Inc. are chairman and deputy chairman of the Chicago Fed.
