PNC Bank Corp. Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

PNC Bank Corp., Pittsburgh, has promoted seven vice presidents to senior vice president. They are:

Michael J. Beyer, mining segment coordinator and senior relationship manager for PNC's energy, mining, and metals division. Mr. Beyer has been vice president and manager of the natural resources department since 1993.

Stephen F. Lugarich, portfolio manager in the Pittsburgh market for the commercial finance division. Mr. Lugarich had been manager of the secured credit administration since 1990.

Frank A. Taucher, manager of health care banking, responsible for western Pennsylvania and national markets.

James L. DiCostanzo, director of marketing research, a post he has held since 1992.

Connie Bond Stuart, based in Washington and responsible for business development for the real estate business for PNC's markets in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington. Ms. Stuart established PNC's Washington real estate operation in 1987.

Bruce Shipley and James C. Rooks in community banking. Mr. Shipley is regional executive for 42 western Pennsylvania branches, as is Mr. Rooks for 41 branches in northwest Pittsburgh.
