Via One Corp., a New York point of sale processor of prepaid products, has agreed to sell Discover-branded reloadable cards issued by nFinanSe Inc. at the stores operated by its merchant clients.
nFinanSe in Bradenton, Fla., announced the deal Wednesday. Its cards are currently sold at about 80,000 retail sites.
Clare J. Morgan, a marketing vice president at nFinanSe said in an interview Wednesday that Via One would process the transactions for purchases made on nFinanSe cards sold through its merchant clients, though the nFinanSe network will handle reloading the cards.
The first reload is free, and subsequent ones cost $2.95.
