WASHINGTON -- The Treasury sold $27.42 billion of 91-day and 182-day bills at unchanged rates yesterday. The three-months incurred an average rate of 5.07%, unchanged the previous auction on Oct. 24 and the highest since Sept. 30, 1991, when it was 5.11%. The six-months incurred a 5.51% rate, unchanged from the previous auction and the highest since Aug. 5, 1991, when it was 5.59%.

Coupon equivalents were 5.21% for the three-months and 5.75% for the six-months.
