Mr. Curcio was a vice president of U.S. marketing at Citibank. He was involved with developing sales and marketing programs targeting New York's retail ethnic markets. Earlier he was director of marketing at Long Island Savings Bank.

He will report to Harold A. Jones, senior vice president of branch operations at $2 billion-asset Ridgewood Savings.
